Cracked heels can cause from number of reasons.
Might be your Shoes that don’t fit right, Might be microbial
infection of calluses, or you might be standing too much, all are possible
culprits. No matter what the causes are, these fissures in the epidermis
are unsightly & painful to bear.
You Should Try some of these home remedies.
Use Rice Flour
To make the scrub of rice flour.
- Mix a handful of rice with a few teaspoons of honey and apple cider vinegar.
- Keep Stirring it until it becomes a thick paste of rice flour and honey.
- If the cracking on your heels is very bad, add a tablespoon of sweet almond oil or olive oil.
- First Soak your feet in warm water for 10 minutes after then gently scrub them with the rice flour paste.
keep on repeating this process for a few times a week until you heal your Cracked Heels.
Use Lemon

- First Soak your feet for 15 minutes in warm water with lemon juice added in warm water.
- Water should be normal warm otherwise very hot water will cause your feet to more dry and cracked
- Scrub your feet using a pumice stone.
Use Rosewater and Glycerin.
The combination of rose water and glycerin makes very effective home treatment. Glycerin has the ability to softens the skin, that is why it is widely used in cosmetics. Rose water adds vitamins B3, A, D, C, and E as well as, antiseptic, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.- Mix equal amounts of rose water and glycerin thoroughly
- Rub it on your heels and feet daily before going to bed at night.
Use Vegetable Oil For.
A variety of vegetable oils can be used to prevent and treat cracked heels. You can use any type of oil Coconut oil, olive oil or any other vegetable oil.- Soak your feet in a hot soapy water & scrub your feet with a pumice stone.
- After that wash your feet and then dry them.
- Then apply any vegetable oil on your heels and soles.
- Then put on a pair of socks and leave them on overnight.
- In the morning, your heels will be observably softer.
Use Bananas
Bananas are one the oldest and cheapest home remedy, Because of their moisturizing properties.- First of all mash one banana, turn it into a smooth paste
- Clean your feet and apply the banana paste on your heels.
- After that let it sit for 15 minutes so that your feet's skin absorb the natural nourishment
- Then wash your feet with warm water & then soak you feet in cold water for 10 minutes.
